Blind Stars

My Expanded Photography project integrates digital technology with traditional art forms, not only exploring documentary photography projects of different regional cultures but also employing cameraless photography and various digital editing techniques. It reflects the fluidity of contemporary identity and social relationships, as well as the variability of digital body forms.

This work takes self-reflection as its main theme, combining the image of the self with abstract poetic text, using the language of photography to analyze and present the true self, and to uncover the starlight hidden deep within the heart. The work adopts a non-camera photography imaging method, creating a display of individual life experiences through the combination of portraits and text.

Stars are a favored image of the artist, and the spiritual core of the work is to convey that even in the darkest days of life, one can always find the indomitable starlight.
