My work "Instant.001" skillfully integrates 3D modeling technology with real-life filming, inspired by Yang Fudong's black and white video works, profoundly expressing an unconscious spiritual transcendence experienced at the edge where dreams and reality intertwine. It is particularly worth mentioning that the 3D facial model presented in the work is specially constructed based on my own image.
This design not only serves as an outlet for personal emotional expression but also represents a deconstructive re-examination of my own body and individual spirit. By employing digital technologies such as Photoshop and AI, the concept of a "digital person" based on me is introduced into the real world, enjoying a new kind of bodily freedom beyond physical limitations. This innovative attempt aims to inspire viewers to contemplate the roles and identities that individuals re-embody in a technological society, as well as to delve into deeper questions about the essence of spiritual life.

The creation process: firstly, ZBrush and Nomad are used in combination to model based on my facial image, followed by 3D printing. After the white model is printed, it is molded and made into a candle.
The artwork focuses on the context of contemporary digital society, where humans have alienated virtual cyber surrogates. People are lost in the flow of information, storing their thoughts in an invisible other world. A person is no longer just a physical entity but also a spatiotemporal collection of image information. Can a virtual information collection replace humans and integrate into society?
The various faces in the work are all incarnations of 'me'. She/they can exist in any identity environment, any emotional space, any cognitive dimension, seemingly at ease, but who exactly does 'me' refer to? The artwork uses this as an opportunity to explore this question.
In this work, the alienation of people in modern society and the 'cold intimacy' relationship between people are also explored. The concept of 'cold intimacy' was proposed by French sociologist Eva Illouz in her writings. It refers to the phenomenon where, against the backdrop of market mechanisms and consumer culture, despite the increasing ways people get to know each other, it becomes increasingly difficult to develop an intimate relationship.
